Max's Agony Page
| Max is our Briard - give him a fuss if you see him in the pub. He is 8 years old, thinks he is still a puppy and terribly frightened of his own shadow! | ![]() |

Dear Max Would it be okay if I brought my owner to your pub for a drink? From Rover |
![]() |
Dear Rover Well behaved owners are welcome, but you must ensure he is on a lead by your side. Due to EHO regulations, please do not bring him in during food service times. From Max |

Dear Max Sometimes after a visit to your pub, my owner likes to stand chatting outside with some of his human friends. Is this a problem? From Fifi and Foofoo |
![]() |
Dear Fifi and Foofoo We have put notices up in the pub for humans asking them to be considerate to our owners when they leave. Sometimes I have to get my owners to remind humans who don't realise how much noise they are making to quieten down or move away from the pub. From Max |

Dear Max Sometimes my owners like to bring their children out with them. Do you mind children in your pub? From Bonzo |
![]() |
Dear Bonzo My owners tell me that this is not the sort of pub that caters for children. Well behaved children sitting at a table at lunchtime or in the early evening is okay as long as they are with their parents. From Max |

Dear Scooby Don't worry, we don't all like the same things, (hoovers terrify me), just tell my owners and they will put me upstairs with my brother Morgan From Max |

Dear Max My owner is getting on a bit and has trouble getting around. Is your pub okay for people like him? From Fido |
![]() |
Dear Fido If your owner uses the door in Wilkins Street, he will be able to access the bar and the toilets without having to manage any steps. Unfortunately we don't have a disabled toilet but should he need help in any way my owners would be happy to help. From Max |

Dear Max My owners are looking for somewhere to have a party - do you have an area they could book? From Lassie |
